TITLES & FONTS

For our titles, we wanted to use a font that reflected the time that Meabh lived in. Set in Ireland, we were looking for a Celtic style of font. Delving deeper into standard fonts of the time, I came across this handwritten poem from the early 1800s by a poet from Donegal. Although this is almost a hundred years after our time frame, the idea is the same.

This document to the right is from 1713. Again we wanted to model our font on something like this in order to stay true to the time. It is important for us to take these things into consideration because even the smallest details can have an impact on the look of the film.
