For Origin we plan to compose our own music to make it specific to the film. For us, the music is so important because it replaces dialogue. Meabh is the only character and so there is no dialogue. It is also crucial for us to not overpower the shots with the music. We want to have a simple piano melody that conveys emotion but will not take away from our shots.

To record the soundtrack we will be using Garageband. We haven't decided if we are going to incorporate voices yet, if we do it will be have the voices very distant and haunting again to be noticeable but never to take away from the shots.
